Tell Albertans about your business and what it does.

Quantum Lifecycle Partners is Canada’s largest IT asset disposition (ITAD) company and end-of-life electronics recycler. We operate four facilities in Alberta, with a robust national presence from coast to coast. We offer comprehensive services that manage the entire lifecycle of IT equipment, from data destruction to refurbishment, and recycling.

Our mission is to create a sustainable future by reducing the amount of e-waste entering landfills through effective reuse and recycling practices. Our ITAD services include secure data destruction and erasure, parts harvesting, refurbishing devices for resale, and overseeing the entire IT disposition process. Our electronics recycling services focus on certified electronics recycling, recovering valuable materials, and minimizing landfill waste.

Our extensive customer base includes major corporations, government agencies, municipalities, school boards and universities, healthcare providers, and telecom companies among others. These clients trust Quantum’s unwavering commitment to reliability, security, and environmental responsibility.

Backed by over 35 years of industry experience, Quantum Lifecycle Partners remains dedicated to continuous innovation and improvement.

What areas of the province do you service?

We serve all of Alberta, with facilities in both Calgary and Edmonton. Our reach extends as far south as Lethbridge and as far north as Fort McMurray.

What makes your business unique?

Quantum Lifecycle Partners stands out due to our comprehensive approach to IT asset management and e-waste recycling. We offer a full spectrum of services that cover every step of the IT disposition process. Our strategic pairing of ITAD and electronics recycling services allows us to maximize the value of end-of-use IT equipment while ensuring environmentally responsible disposal.

We are also deeply committed to sustainability, having made significant strides in reducing carbon emissions. In the 2023 fiscal year, we helped our customers across Canada save over 83,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions, recycling over 100 million pounds of electronics and reusing more than 500,000 assets.

If there was something that Albertans could do to make recycling these materials easier, what would it be?

Albertans can help by recognizing that almost any electronic device can be recycled. If it has a battery or a plug, it’s likely recyclable. Making e-waste recycling a regular part of your routine, similar to how you handle other recyclables, will significantly contribute to reducing electronic waste in landfills.

What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about your business or about the recycling process of the materials you handle?

Quantum serves over 40% of Alberta’s population under contract! Across Canada, we divert nearly 100 million pounds of e-waste from landfills and reuse nearly 500,000 assets annually.

Is there anything else you would like Albertans to know about your business?

Quantum Lifecycle Partners is proud to have been operating in Alberta for over 20 years, employing over 100 Albertans in high-value, skilled jobs that are driving the circular economy and shaping Alberta’s future!
