EPR Oversight Fee Consultation Webinar

September 23, 2024

Consultation for Alberta’s 2024 and 2025 EPR Oversight Fees was conducted between September 30, 2024, and November 14, 2024, and has now concluded. Materials on this consultation page are for reference only. Please see the main EPR Oversight Fees page for current information.

Alberta’s EPR Oversight Fee Consultation Begins September 30, 2024.

Under EPR in Alberta, ARMA’s role is to oversee and manage the EPR system, ensuring Producers meet their regulatory obligations. Producers contribute financially to cover the costs of this oversight.

We invite Producers to participate in ARMA’s Oversight Fee Consultation starting on September 30, 2024. Here’s what to expect:

Oversight Fee Estimation: In addition to providing feedback on the oversight fees for both 2024 and 2025, the draft fees will give Producers the ability to estimate and budget for the upcoming costs.

The Consultation Process

  • Oversight Fee Information: Proposed oversight fees and details about the fee methodology will be posted on the ARMA website for review on September 30.
  • Survey Participation: Following the first webinar, Producers will be invited to participate in a survey on the proposed fees. The survey will be open for a 45-day window to gather your feedback.
  • Webinar Series: Two webinars will be available to present information live and answer any questions that may help inform Producer feedback. Following the session, a link to the webinar recording will be made available.
    • October 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. MT
    • October 29, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. MT
