Tarick Ahmad is the Chief Technology Officer at the Workers’ Compensation Board – Alberta. He brings a wealth of experience from the construction, energy, and technology sectors, having previously held the role of Chief Innovation Officer for a public long-term disability and extended health care organization.
Tarick’s expertise spans operations, innovation, data and analytics, machine learning, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, software development, and project management. He is a Technologist and holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and ICD.D designations. Additionally, Tarick holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta. His professional certifications include Enterprise Risk Management, Data Management, and Blockchain.
Tarick is a dedicated community member. He sits on the board of the Edmonton Screen Industries Office and is also a member of the Audit and Finance Committee. He lives in Edmonton with his wife and three young children.
