Mick Howden, CPA, CMA, has worked primarily in the consulting engineering and construction sectors, gaining broad experience in national and international operations. He has extensive experience in planning and implementing business acquisitions and mergers, complex ERP system implementations, and corporate reorganizations.
Mick has always been very involved in corporate, community, and not-for-profit boards, councils, and committees, serving as a director and/or member of the executive branch of such organizations.
In addition to various consulting assignments, Mick is currently involved in supporting the community, provincial government council assignments, and crown corporation board memberships, including for the Agriculture Financial Services Corporation as a Board Member and Audit Committee member; as a member of the Government of Alberta’s Internal Audit Committee; as a Board Member and Audit Committee member for the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association; and with the Calgary Stampede as the Chair for the Western Performance Horse Committee.
Mick and his wife live on their acreage at Priddis, west of Calgary, and he is an avid team roper. They have two sons and three grandchildren.
